Short Hop
By: Matt | May 8th, 2008I am going to be gone all weekend and will not return until late Sunday night. I do not even expect to see the match this weekend against FC Twente, so I expect some comments here from you in lieu of a match report. Consider it a homework assignment from a guy who just finished his spring semester.
Here is what I know:
The Miralem Sulejmani thing is looking like a deal that will close in a few days. Perhaps while I am gone. of course, this is all still coming from his agent. So he could still end up somewhere else, and Ajax could just be leverage. I won’t believe it until I see it. I like Sulejmani, but I am not sold that he fits in yet. So I am somewhat surrpised, but who would turn this guy down? Youtube at bottom.
No word yet on injuries to Steks and Suarez. Missing those two guys for the away leg could be bad. We wanna score and we wanna keep them from scoring, and few guys are as instrumental in those tasks.

We just didnt create very many opportunities today. Twente probably deserved it. KJH quiet all day, or at least the 80 or so minutes I saw.
